Guy, here. I slutted it up before I was married. I think I bedded 50 women, but I can't remember because I was drunk so much in college. I regret nothing. I suffer from that a bit as well, but moreso in the sense that I need things placed a certain way, or I count things out, anyway I digress. A lot of people enjoy sex and seeking it as much as possible. Your man is done with that outside of marriage. You need to get over it.

I'm guessing promiscuous means that he has had sexual partners, probably a normal number. I'm also guessing that even if he had one or two sexual partners, you would obsess, because you are insecure and anxious. I'm also guessing that even if your BF were a virgin, you would obsess about that. Is it okay that he's a virgin? Does it "mean something"? OP, time to start medication.

Talking to a therapist might help. Unless you date a virgin, any guy you date will have a past.

Talk to your therapist. You already know your level of obsession about this is tied to your anxiety and OCD, so work it out with a professional.

What does promiscuous mean? How many partners? He was just having sex. As long as it was by mutual consent, who cares? Why do you think you care?

If you let this eat at you it will eventually drive him away. Next guy as well. Get some counseling before you lose him.

I felt like you in the past and also thought it was jealousy and anxiety. What I came to realize is that our values didn't match. I eventually met someone whose experience and values were more in line with mine. I never felt jealous over his past and we have been happily married for 15 years.

See a therapist. What happened before does not matter...don't waste a thought on it. Most men are promiscuous. It does not mean anything. Get the OCD under control. Hopefully, you have a mild case. My mom had a severe case and my childhood and now adulthood is miserable.
