The probably with the alpha, is that the alpha is often also the omega.

I guess by this weird standard, my husband is a beta. I did not "settle" for him, I chose him. I am rarely attracted to alphas, who I find to be dangerous and egotistical, not the sort of person I can open up to.

I made the right choice. Everyday he proves himself to be one of the best men I know.

Get impregnated by an alpha and have the beta raise your offspring.

I don't get this at all. My DH has some beta characteristics and some alpha. I think most men amd women do. Personality types all exist on a spectrum. If you dont know this, you are a moron.

I did. I'm more compatible with Betas because I have Alpha tendencies. He was earning 75k at age 30. At age 40, he's only gone up to 100k, with delayed promotions and a salary cap at around 110k. Kicker is that he is not an Alpha but has the work hours of one. 50-60 hrs every damn week. I hate his industry.

Anyway, I love his Beta personality. Sure makes a great spouse and dad to young kids.

ooookay. Woman or man, troll or serious: if you think all men can just be broken down and lumped into two categories you're both simple-minded and one-dimensional. And you probably spend too much time on creepy pickup artist websites / nerdy web forums.

-Woman who married a man, with his own personlity and complexities, that cannot be broken down to a single Greek letter.

I think this mentality was popularized on that Reddit Red Pill site. The idea is that women only respect alphas, and only grudgingly accept beta males when they run out of other options. There is a lot of other MRA-oriented theorizing on that site. It's basically the male equivalent of a radical feminist site.

Oh god, not the beta troll again. Alpha and Beta is a bunch of bullshit. We're human beings, not categories.
