I looked at the comments on that one and it seems there is a whole lot of misinformation regarding that change. A bunch of the comments were about 'don't eliminate this wonderful STEM program!" This policy change has nothing to do with eliminating STEM at ASFS. Or "we should be able to walk to ASFS" - the only way to make that happen is to go along with the change to make Key exclusively a choice school and redraw boundaries to make ASFS a neighborhood school. So, basically people are signing a petition that goes AGAINST what they want or has nothing to do with their concerns.
They don't seem to realize it yet, but making Key solely a choice school means boundary redistricting between Taylor, ASFS, Jamestown, and probably Discovery since it's under capacity.
