That's what my husband said. I didn't think so because she seems so sure she is hot.

It's a little bit concerning that she's so into her appearance. Midlife crisis?
When I do tell her that, she stops for a few weeks but then it inevitably starts up again.

I'm busy thinking about other things and living my life. She is constantly posting FB selfies of herself and occasionally her and her daughter. I mostly ignore but she gets some comments from friends. It's nice of them because clearly she needs reassurance that she is still beautiful and I just have a hard time giving it because it seems immature and shallow.
It's especially annoying because she now makes these dumb wide eyed surprised expressions in all her pictures. She never looks like that in real life. I really think she read an article about taking selfies or something and is trying to follow its advice. But she just looks crazy. I have tried to think of a way to tell her it's ridiculous but there is no way of course.

Like who?
Lol
I mean like what? Insecurity?
Insecurity, immaturity, lack of understanding of what other people find pleasant and normal, possibly she's simply not very intelligent....I dunno, I feel sorry for her. I wouldn't feed into her neediness, but I wouldn't be harsh with her, either. A lot of huhs and wows and really?s and let's talk about that movie or person we knew way back when.
I agree with most of this. But when I do the "huh, wow, really" she thinks I am interested.
