Ireally am against this law too. We should have a meet up at Comet Pizza about this to organize opposition. Ok, woops. Hell, I love Comet and will take any excuse to go there.

+1 The suburban parts of NWDC look exactly like the close-in parts of Montgomery County where backyard chickens are allowed (but not roosters due to noise issues).

My neighbor has chickens. We did not know until he offered us eggs. Apparently he's had them for a while.

I smell chicken tax/permit. If not, why is she bothering the chicken people ? Always follow the money.

I could understand if the yard were postage stamp small, townhouse and city living but if you have a decent sized yard, why not ?
