Subject: Getting married, estranged from family

Is it ok to walk down the aisle alone?
Givi g the bride away dates back to when women were chattel. 2nd wedding, walk yourself down the aisle.

This is what DH and I did and it was a first marriage for both of us.
+1 We did this as well, and also first marriage for both, but we did not have any bridesmaids or groomsmen.
