This. I am seeing this with admissions at my son's private this year. Hispanic is golden in admissions even with lower stats, and less impressive extracurriculars. He ia a great kid and impressive in his own right but not as much as others, but golden in the admissions process.

Definitely want to use the ED/EA card on the schools where your DC is a legacy. Would your DC consider suburban schools?
