The thread is THREE years old. Are you suggesting Covid was around in 2017? What kind of conspiracy theorist is that? And it’s not contagious for three years?

With DCUM everything is Covid. Everything.

I have a friend who hasn't eaten peanut butter in a while yet she tastes it and also complains that she's going to feel sick. Maybe she has a stomach issue?

Came on here to post that this could be (not for OP in 2027 but for PPs in 2021) a covid or post-covid phenomenon. Be glad you aren’t tasting garbage, which some covid survivors do for months.

There are a LOT of time travelers on this thread.

I have constant peanut butter taste, and I am also extremely anemic, so I believe the responses that saw low iron are likely correct.

I also have this taste of something between butter and peanut butter, but I only noticed it since I started taking Plavix. I see that it can sometimes cause odd tastebud changes. Might this be what we are all experiencing? I like peanuts and peanut butter, but not 24/7, and having it affect the taste of everything I eat. I also have it when I haven't eaten in a while. Would love for it to go away.

I have the taste of peanut butter and haven't eaten it. I almost choked on something in back of nose/mouth or in between. I finally swallowed it. Any idea's? I haven't eaten for hrs.

Same here, but it’s a week or so after being infected with covid. Not sure if that can help anyone, but I feel like it’s definitely linked as it affected my taste and smell pretty intensely.

i just took a fat hit, and got the taste of peanut butter after coughing my lungs out. It was mildly enjoyable, but very recognizable as peanut butter. Oh wait I am drinking a pumpkin beer. may be the cause. still posting this.
