If you're at Giraffe Manor, Kazuri Beads is a minute away. They produce beaded jewelry onsite and employ primarily single mothers, give them a decent wage, housing, education. Good prices and worth stopping by the site rather then spending twice the price at other shops/airport.

Not the pp but have done several safaris. It gets scary when animals get a little too close. Like almost walking through a hippo pod late a night. A lion in camp. Or being stuck in your tent because an elephant is outside. On a game drive we were charged by a Cape buffalo
