Her sense of style is not my taste but I understand why other people like it. They seem happily married. Don't really care about their politics.
I don't know why, but their show reminds me of the Pioneer Woman. Cheesy, scripted, and too "flyover" for me.

They're a cute family. Yes, everything is scripted, predictable, and corny. But the formula works- it's the launchpad for their now-extensive (and lucrative) brand, and isn't it HGTV's highest-rated show?

I suspect most of the animus directed toward them from DCUM-land stems form the fact that they are a Christian couple who are outspoken about their faith.
