I know this is late but for anyone reading this for encouragement, I was successful with 9 retrieved(I'm not OP).

I had 9 retrieved (I was mad at my RE because I was on the smallest dose for ivf), 6 mature, 5 fertilized, 2 day 5 blasts, and 1 blast that didn't make it to freeze.

I now have 1 4yo son from a transfer of 2 blasts. My RE tried to talk me out of transferring 2 (1 was AA and the other a little behind) but I stuck to my guns. My initial beta was high (in twin range) but I ended up with a singleton.

You realize that sometimes people meet their DH later in life? Having kids as a 20 something without a spouse or financial means to pay for childcare and everything else child related is just not feasible for many people.

Of course it's not the ONLY factor, but let's be honest, it is an important one. The fact remains that the older a woman is, the more LIKELY she is to have fertility issues, especially after a certain age. I wish it were not true myself!

Anyways, good luck OP! It really does take one good egg and try to stay positive.

The people you are trying to reach aren't reading this. Besides, there are lots of good reasons why people sometimes wait to have kids. Is it better to have a kid with any old guy who's around when you're 25/30?

Plus if 5 fertilized, that's likely what 2/3 blast, and of the 2/3 maybe 1 or 0 are PGS normal?

Will worrying about it and stressing about wanting more than your body can make help things? Ask yourself that before you go too far with this train of thought.
I also feel I need like 20.

Thanks. I know worrying doesn't help. But it's still discouraging.

Oh, fuck off.

Age isn't everyone's problem. And even if it is, comments like this are extremely unhelpful. If a younger woman read your post, she's already trying and having difficulty.
