NP but yes, I'd assume Caiyan = boy, Cayenne = girl. I don't like Caiyan at all, but Cayenne could be cute for the right family.

+1 Cayenne seems more like a girl name (the "enne" ending), whereas Caiyan seems like a way to make it into a boy's name. IMO no matter the spelling, the "cayenne" pronunciation works better as a girl name.

I know a Kiyan which is pronounced Kee-anne, a boy. I think it was middle eastern. Your name I'd pronounce like Cayenne and guess its a boy.
