Dyscalculia is separate from ADHD. Sometimes they are co-morbid, but you can't treat it with ADHD meds.
Definitely consider a neuropsych. I was convinced DS had dyscalculia, but the testing showed that his issues are with retrieval and working memory and mild ADHD. We've tried medication and there has been some improvement but I'm not sure it's due to the medication. His school encourages the use of Xtra Math so he does that on the iPad in the evenings. The constant repetition has helped.
