We were in the Poconos last weekend. The week before they had one of the best weeks for snow fall and making. However last Saturday the high was 50. It was mashed potatoes by noon when we stopped skiing at Jack Frost. Sunday it was 52. When we went over to the indoor pool, Sunday afternoon we wore flip flops - no need for boots outside. When we left on Monday, the projected high was 60. I think skiing is done in the mid Atlantic this year.

OP here. Thanks for the updates. A multi-day trip is not in the cards for us. I think we're going to do ifly instead. Not the same but hopefully a consolation.

Just checked Liberty's website. Tubing is over for the season.

From Ski Liberty's twitter:
Due to tomorrow's wet forecast, we will be closed on Saturday. Head to our website for full operation details: http://www.libertymountainresort.com

Well the silver lining would be is that you would have the place to yourself. Maybe just get a 4 hr pass to at least say you went skiing depending on how disapointed your kids will be if you don't go at all.
Would they be up for tubing?

New England got a ton of snow so you could get a cheap flight to Manchester NH and go to a mountain up there. A lot more money/hassle than Liberty but still much cheaper than out west (and maybe better snow).
