I'd say green.

Hazel is the reverse - more green in towards the pupil, brown outer.

The lovely thing about hazel eyes is that they often change with leg light, or what one is wearing. So sometimes they look more green, other times more brown.

If your eyes are green with a brown ring in the center can they be called green?

So the hazel / blueness will change as you age.

The limbic ring is actually the part that borders the sclera not the pupil and gives that dark appearance in youth.

Why are people randomly posting what color their eyes are? No one cares.

A lot of people seem to use hazel to describe any shade of brown, and sometimes green. For this reason I don't use the term- because I'm not sure what people think it means. So I pick the outer third or so and call it that. One of my kids has green, one blue, both with an inner Brown/gold ring.

I think it does. My dad is blue and green and it's definitely hazel.

Wtf. No

His eyes are a mix of the two. What would you call them? They are neither green nor blue.

That's called blue green.

My eyes are light brown (amber/honey colored) with green visible in certain light. I think that's hazel.

My eyes are hazel. Depending on what color I'm wearing, they are either more brown or more green.

My eyes used to be light brown with a dark green ring. When I hit menopause the melanin seems to have decided to disappear, so only the very center around the pupils is still brown. The rest is hazel-gold fading to blue. Almost everyone on both sides of my family has blue eyes, so maybe the brownness is weak in me.

My eyes are blue with green/yellow starbursts. I'm told I have cat eyes. They're quite amazing - people always compliment me because of my eyes. Some days they look bluer, some days they look greener.

NP. I have blue eyes with kind of a small radiating hazel/gold ring around the center.

You might not call that hazel, and plenty of people have complimented me on my unique eyes but they aren't pure blue either.

Are you watching the Duggar wedding special? (This was discussed on tonight's episode of Counting On)
