I'm slightly younger (33) and date guys younger and older. 30-42 though rarely 40+. I tend to meet guys who are two years younger to 3 years older. You're playing yourself with your age range. By the 30s, it's not uncommon for folks to be divorced with kids. You really aren't unusual for a mid 30s woman.

17:56 here. I met guys in a whole range, from never married to recently divorced to less recently divorced. I deleted Bumble when I was talking to a guy who turned out to still be married (luckily did not meet him. "My wife doesn't want me to be happy!" he said. Ugh).

I've had a sitter scheduled for weeks, now I'm all dressed up with nowhere to go. Except a movie. ALONE. Nothing wrong with that but it would be nice to have an alternative place to mingle at times like this. I do miss male companionship sometimes.

I was an early 30's single mom with three kids - no problem dating. Get out there and have fun. I needed up settling down with an incredible man - kind, loving, patient, successful, intelligent, handsome and super tall, and he's younger than me to boot. He is an incredible stepdad, and amazing father to our youngest child, an amazing husband, and the most respectful partner I have ever had. There are good ones out there, you don't don't need to settle for someone much older, uglier, or who doesn't have his life together.

I think you're selling yourself short.

I'm your age and my dad is in his mid 50's so it would be infinitely weird to date someone that old. It would feel way too creepy. You sound a little depressed. There are plenty of men out there who are your age and are available to date.

38 year old soon to be single dad..once it's final. I've dated women in their mid-thirties and have kids. If you're fit, attractive and fun to be around you'll find a good guy. I was amazed how easy it is in this area. It can be frustrating with schedules but you make it work

Late 30s guy with every-other-week custody of two elementary school aged kids here. I had my 2 years of post-divorce fun with women in their 20s (and they were all wonderful and I don't have anything bad to say about them), but have learned that I prefer dating women who have children as well.

You'll be fine.

I'm a 45 year old divorced women with kids dating mid-30's guys and having a blast... plenty of fish in the sea.

I'm 42 with two young kids and I've been dating. Lots of options. My problem is that I am picky. The one guy I did really like was my age and is stuck in the "I'm going to date someone younger" mindset. He sucks.
