I can't find that info online (maybe I'm not looking in the right place), and if my child is coming from Eastern to RMIB, will it be a disadvantage to not have been in the MYP in Middle School?
There are no standardized tests other than IB exams taken during Junior and Senior years. Your child will be fine without having been in the MYP program. Mine came without it and it was fine.
I'm sorry - I think my question wasn't clear - are there standardized tests to GET INTO RMIB - not once you're there? Like the tests the kids had to take for the MS Magnet schools?

RMIB is a very selective magnet...
Only in 9th which really means nothing but more work for 2 years. By 11th pretty much anyone can get in and get the same diploma everyone else gets. The Magnets are more selective.
LOL sure.![]()
They double the IB program in 11th. Only kids in RM for the exact grade can get in. So yes, it is very easy to get in. It drives the original 9th grader's parents INSANE, doesn't it? LOL
