I have started doing the metro liner and upgrading ($35 more) to business class. Typically very few people in the car with you and plenty of room to spread out. Not as "posh" as Acela, but Acela is not all that impressive to begin with.

Anonymous wrote:Train, for sure. Easy on, easy off -- takes you right into Manhattan. You can bring food, walk around the aisles, the seats are comfortable and there are power outlets and (reputedly) wifi.
Is there parking at New Carrollton? Could you drive there and park?
