When I blocked my husbands phone from an ex, she could still text him, but he couldn't respond. Block. My fiancé's ex is an attention whore and even though she is engaged to someone else, would keep sending selfies Ronny fiancé via Snapchat. Nothing suggestive and I'm sure they were sent to more than one person but I thought it was inappropriate. He never responded to her and he would open them right in front of me so I never worried about anything actually going on, but I still didn't like her doing it. I only had to ask once, and he removed her from Snapchat, and it hasn't been an issue since. She doesn't regular-text him so I didn't make him delete her actual number--he's still friends with her family and I am also friends with some of her family. If he didn't want to block her I don't know what I would have done but I'd have been unhappy. Thankfully, not a problem.

He has been ignoring her for the past 1.5 months, but keeping txts as evidence just in case.

Terrible advice. Did you know that outbursts in mental facilities decrease when ignored? Ignore, ignore, ignore. Any contact gives Ol' Crazy satisfaction. Have your husband put the texts in a separate folder without opening them. They may be useful as evidence later on if she tries to pull some Disclosure (expl) in the future.
