The OP of this thread is one of those working for the liberals: to get the constituents riled up about crying for Town Halls in this district (since we are going into Congressional recess) because the libs then show up with ugly signs, protests, and they film all of that. You can ask multiple questions. everyone can hear everyone else. It works much better and reaches far more constituents than the old tired Town Hall meeting.
All well and good, my dear, but you forget the power of tradition and the visual image needed by the media of the authentic Town Hall. There will be HUGE pressure on all sides to do regular Town Hall meetings, instead of invisible phone conferences. So politicians refusing to face their constituents in person will go down in flames.
