+1 I am 46. I won't wear one because my skin was stretched so much during my pregnancies to the point where I look like a human charpe, but if you look good wearing one, who cares how old you are.
I saw a pix of Helen Mirren in one. She looked awesome. Some people are so uptight.
Actually, who cares even if you don't look so-called "good"...One of my favorite things about my Jamaican vacations was that all the local people treated you like you were gorgeous no matter what you looked like, how old you were etc.
That's because they were after your visa. The locals were probably snickering.

in my country (Brasil)everybody wear a bikini even you are 80 years older, no problem.Anonymous wrote:I was surprised at how many women at the table didn't like it and were so judgmental about it. Why do people care?
Anonymous wrote:I have no problem with it, and if anything, I am envious of women 40+ who still can. I would do it in a heartbeat if I could pull it off. And by pull it off, I don't think you have to have a perfect hard body to wear a bikini.
I agree that many women in this area are very harsh critics on this topic, which surprises me considering how liberal the area is.
