Our high school theatre company did a field trip to NYC and they saw School of Rock; everyone loved it.

Hated Book of Mormons. Teen daughter loved School of Rock. Audience was comprised of a lot of teens & college students. Daughter has been to most top shows on Broadway & rated School of Rock best show hands down for teens. BTW... you will love the show too. Enjoy!

Book of Mormon is very raunchy is some places. It made my husband and I cringe in several places. Not suitable at all for the ages of kids OP has mentioned.

Miss Saigon is pretty boring. I haven't seen the others, but I dozed off in Miss Saigon. I've seen a ton of Broadway shows, I live 30 minutes from Manhattan, and this is the only one that put me to sleep, in my 40+ years of Broadway shows.

You're crazy! Miss Saigon packs a powerful emotional punch.
