We have one.
We limit the # of kids on it because there is a weight limit.

Injuries have been nose bleeds and bumps.

My son has a lot of energy and bounces every day before doing homework.

He also plays sports on it (soccer or ga ga ball) which is fun.

We have a net and make sure it is closed.

Good luck to you.

We got a trampoline and it's been an excellent decision so far. The extent of injury so far has been no worse than playing with any other toy or roughhousing (jumping too close and pushing each other, etc). We have a high quality net and only allow 2 at a time (it's large) and no acrobatics when there's more than one.

We got it when my youngest was about 18 months old, and it took him a couple months to feel comfortable but now he's easily the most advanced 2 year old at his gymnastics class. The agility skills also translate to land- he's able to do things like jump while spinning 360 degrees both on and off the trampoline. In terms of building athleticism and understanding of the body, it's difficult to do better than a trampoline for a 2 year old.

Another springfree with net and a 1 kid only rule household here. It is fantastic fun, but my kids each have one friend that I won't let on b/c I don't trust the kid not to go crazy. Know your kids, know your parenting style and, for goodness sake, only get the springfree version (with net, obvs).

Yes, we considered getting one but, after googling trampoline injuries, quickly decided against it!

Also trampoline injuries are up due to the sky zlne type of trampoline parks. Tons of people aimlessly jumping around while a 13 kid "supervises"

Hmmm pediatrician or physical therapist......

I'll take the physical therapists word from above

hmmm. American Academy of Pediatrics- vs. anonymous physical therapist. I'll go with the AAP

Well if youre not supervising a fucking 3 year old on the trampoline then that's what you get. Put the wine down and pay attention

We have three kids and ours is used every single day (no longer live in DC, weather is warmer). Zero injuries on it so far... however they fall off scooters and bikes left and right.

We got a springfree trampoline With a net and only allow one kid at a time. It's fine ten years later.
