What does this mean - hoping for the worse? I am hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Cancelled my cable and deactivated my Facebook. I am just hoping for the worse. Just focusing on getting out of this country.

Might need to do this.

It must be galling for you that the Democratic Party could not field a candidate that could beat a "psycho." Why didn't the Democrats run a better candidate?

It was her turn.

Shame she didn't listen to her DH when he told her to go after Trump's base. Then we would be in this mess

Most citizens didn't vote for Hillary, either.

Yes it all makes me ill but at the same time, I think it would be irresponsible to tune out. I recently subscribed to the sites that all my friends from the other side of the aisle subscribe to. I want to see what information they are seeing on a daily basis that makes them believe what they believe. I think of it as due diligence.

I don’t post political things on FB and I don’t go there to see political posts. I get my political information from other sources.
When I see a political post, I don’t comment, I don’t respond at all. No likes, no thumbs up, not anything.

I have found that the majority of my friends who post political crap on FB do not want a discussion. They want to be validated. They want agreement. As if theirs is the only view.
And, this includes people from both sides of the aisle.
I refuse to validate them.

I ignore those posts too, despite the fact that I am a liberal and share Trump angst.. But it's just too much, and it's too divisive.
But I do wonder if some of my friends take offense.

+1000

Those labels just died two months ago.
OP: ignorance and avoidance are nothing to be proud of. A lot of bad stuff is about to happen with all our names attached to it. We have a certifiable PoTUS with a mental illness (narcissistic personality disorder) casually mentioning that we should invade Iraq again and steal their oil, that he wants to abandon NATO, and that he admires dictators.

Ignore at your own peril. My eyes are wide open and I'm making contingency plans to GTFO DC if the sh#t really hits the fan.

Liberals lost everything on a single night
The house
The senate
The Supreme Court for a generation
The presidency
4/5 of state houses
4/5 of governors
Dogcatcher
Sheriff

On top of that .. The liberal leaning media is being systematically decimated .

They deserve a period of time to lash out and flail around.

And elementary school-level knowledge would tell you about our method of electing a president. Did you go to a charter school?

Clearly Trump understood enough politics to know how the US electoral system worked. But I am still puzzled why a woman with the education and background of Hillary Clinton didn't understand how elections were managed in the US. Do you think she got the US electoral system confused with one of the many countries she visited as Secretary of State?
