Alcohol/Food was bought from costco. Wedding cake was fancy. Music was home sound system. We were well fed, enjoying drinks, there was a nice wedding, and then a normal fun backyard party.
Only gripe: I wish that there had been a sharpie for writing on plastic glasses or wine charms or something.
Perhaps the wedding favor could be some way to mark your glass?
+1
If I was willing to remarry I would do a backyard wedding, although if you have allergies that might not work. Second choice is a beach wedding. I would never sign the marriage license again though, personally.

This is my dream wedding reception.

This! I honestly don't remember any kind of decorations or centerpieces or photo displays or anything from the weddings I've attended. I only remember if the food was good and the music fun. I'm in the same boat you are, and I'm really not worried at all about the venue or decorations. I care the most about my dress, the food and drink, and the music. Everything else gets forgotten.

Or a catered backyard BBQ (but not in the summer - too hot). Or casual lunch/brunch at a winery with bus transportation for everyone (small invite list).
