Wow - I don't think the "shut up" was necessary. I did say it was a cute idea and my kid loves s'mores. Not exactly sure what "crap" you're referring to - I never expect parents to accommodate my kid and I feel bad when there are food treats in goody bags he can't eat because I know the host spent money on them and I don't like being wasteful.


Well then why even bothering to a thread that clearly doesn't apply to you?

Lol - I know
We always bring our own cupcake/slice of cake and something else in case the party is during meal time. I don't mention the allergy unless asked, and even then I make sure the host knows that we will bring something comparable. Parties are enough work to put together without factoring in trying to accommodate allergies.

If you let the host know ahead of time maybe she could put dark choc in yours, or you could buy some and let your kid eat the rest.
