Mostly China, for whatever that's worth to you.
??? China is not a swear word. LLBean is decent quality for the price with a generous return policy. I gather it don't matter to you in the ivory tower, but we, the great unwashed, certainly appreciate small things in life.

That's fine but we are not talking about that. The OP's point was the issue of whether it is appropriate for a PEOTUS to encourage his followers to patronize a certain business because they contributed to his campaign. Sounds like the "pay for Play" that he and so many of his voters railed against.

Telling people to purchase LL Bean goods after a LL Bean board member give Trump a load of cash MUST be illegal. Or will it be illegal only when he becomes POTUS?

Just add this ethics violation to the list. Though the quid pro quo is so much more blatant here.
TBH, I keep thinking to myself that there's no way DJT is as clueless as he's presenting himself as. Which really does make me wonder if he continues to step up the outrage in the hopes that something will stick and prevent him from being sworn in...but all this stuff just keeps making him more popular. He's caught in the "Office Space" trap.
But all of this is really just me trying to make sense of the completely senseless.

Two explanations here, they're both true:
1. He doesn't know anything
2. He doesn't even know that he doesn't know anything
He opens his mouth and his lips flap whatever he feels like flapping that second. There's no thought, no discretion, no circumspection, no rehearsal, no consideration, no self editing. He communicates both in lack of filter and in substance of speech at the level of a child.

That's silly. Also, they've been put on a boycott list already, so choose if you want to support that boycott or not.
It's not silly. I'm not loaded. I have limited dollars to spend and I don't really want to spend it with people who support and are supported by Trump. But if PP is correct and this is just one board member, I will not join a boycott.
