PP that let my cleaning person go in person for poor work. I didn't tell her that was the reason why. I just explained that I would be stopping recurring cleanings and would move to as needed so she could give someone else my slot. No further discussion needed. My name is not Cruella


Oh and I don't think it ruined the opportunity to use her again. A year later she texts me just about every major holiday with well wishes.

Depends on how long you have been cleaning with her. I ended up firing my cleaning person of 3 years because I think she grew complacent. I told her the month of the last cleaning that I wouldn't be doing regular cleanings anymore. Also, gave a nice thank you bonus for the last clean. I think it also leaves the door open should you ever think you may want to re-engage.
