Blondes tend to have less melanin in their skin so without proper care just like us pale brunettes, we can age poorly. Notice those African American and east Asian women who have darker skin often age beautifully and look younger than they are (at least everyone I know with darker skin).

I think she would have been better off aging naturally and using artful makeup instead. Her face looks oddly full now, I can still recognize her but it isn't a good change that she's done there.
