I've never understood why some people have this obsession with visiting this place over and over and over again. Seven times (and I know some people visit it a lot more)?

OP, I think you are probably far more of a Rat fan than anyone else in your family, but their gentle hints (i.e. dropping out of the trip) aren't making an impression.

I am the biggest fan and don't mind going with them. Like I said I left out a lot of details but people have dropped out bc of $$ and all of the back and forth with dates, not for lack of interest.

Then I'd let go of this trip for now. Tell your cousin that you really want everyone to go but need a firm date. Tell her to cancel and reschedule when she can do that.
