Wowwwww.
She wins! Because she is so not thinking about you right now.
Yea I wring my hands over her not thinking about me. Lol. I'm not worked up about it..are you all illiterate? I think these crazy "you just hate your SIL" responses are a hoot!
But meanwhile, you took the time to write a post about your SIL and disguised it as you thought a Jesus birthday celebration was crazy. Keep spinning OP!
But you took the time to respond without reading the original post clearly. You are the spinner my friend.

How does such a sweet radition offend you so much OP?
I think you are looking for reasons to disdain your in laws.

It's not uncommon OP especially for families with kids to help remind them of the meaning of Christmas and to help them understand the meaning.
There's nothing wrong with it. Why do you feel offended? It's Jesus's birthday. Celebrate with cake and song. Not your thing? Ok, but who are you to be pompous about it?
OK, but it wasn't really his birthday and we don't know that he really existed. So...a birthday cake seems over the top.

I'm not offended, but I think it is corny and dumb and I would never subject my guests to this sort of thing. That's why we never go to her house, which I clearly stated i, my original post.
OP, you are a sweetheart aren't you. Tons of things you do with kids are corny. You are so judgemental.

SIL celebrates the birth of Christ with cake.
You celebrate with...judgment and ridicule.[/quo
Yes, I do enjoy laughing at my SILs stupid ideas. It her whole "I'm a good Christian this one day" thing that bothers me.
