Don't worry about it, OP. It's a normal developmental phase around at certain ages to swing back to hanging with same-sex friends for a while. It will move back to mixed sexes soon.

My DD (13) has several very good friends who are boys. They are a nice balance to the girl friendships, which are sometimes more drama filled.

One of my DD's best friend from ES to MS (now) is a boy.

My DD (now 14) went through a period where she mostly avoided boys. By the 8th grade, that started ending. Now, she hangs out with groups that include boys and girls. I do not think anything is happening, though.
