How many times have you "picked broken glass our of the dishwasher"?

Anybody that lets the way a dishwasher is loaded bother them is clearly on the spectrum for OCD.

Not annoyed, but puzzled that NO woman I've ever known, including DW, knows how to stack the dishwasher properly. So I always have to do it.

I can't stand when DH does dishes or laundry. Dishes are packed so close together that they never get clean, and he turns off the dry setting so that when I open the dishwasher to put the dishes away they are wet.

And laundry? Everything goes together. Whites, darks, towels, delicates. Then he dries them on a low setting so that they don't dry completely.

Ha, my DH gets so annoyed at how I load the dishwasher (among other household tasks). He used to tell me how to do tasks, which led to me doing just the bare minimum to get him to shut up, and it led to a lot of resentment on both ends. Micromanaging- whether you're on the giving or receiving end- isn't good for a marriage. It's really not a big deal if you have to run the dishwasher a little more frequently than you would otherwise.

This! They are still getting washed...

When DH loads and runs the dishwasher on his own, he never unloads it. When I come along to unload it, about half of the dishes are actually clean and the other half end up being put back in the dishwasher (the right way this time) to be run with the next load. So DH doing anything does not equate to a job getting "done" unfortunately.

I'd never say or admit this, but OMG yes. Zero sense of spatial relations, and apparently a lack of understanding that if you completely block the path of water to a particular dish, it cannot get washed. Sometimes in marriage one must bite one's tongue, though.

Oh my gosh, I am so happy that my DH and I are both relaxed about this kind of thing...

I only get annoyed if someone puts big pots and pans in the dishwasher, leaving no room for anything else. I wind up taking those right back out and washing them myself so that we'll have a place to put plates and bowls. Beyond that, I don't care about the order of the way the dishes are placed in there.

This is my DH too. The dishes area all over the place and drives me crazy. I re-do them so that the dishes get clean.

I get annoyed when DH rearranges the dishwasher after I have loaded it. As a result, it is his job now.

I know Lynsey dH gets annoyed and I try to do it better. I have a very poor sense of spatial awareness. He rarely brings it up though.
