Why does she need to sound apologetic for not being ready to have sex? Why does she need to makeup for it by offering cuddling and making out?

I am perfectly calm. Just wanted to indicate that if she doesn't because she thinks if they do that he will think she's easy and not want to continue the relationship, that that's not always the case.
