No one knows what goes on inside anyone's marriage. But anyone who knows them knows that Bill and Hill at least have an intellectual connection and common passion for wonkish policy issues.

The only thing I'd have to say about the Trump marriage is it's hard to imagine any kind of stimulating conversation between the two of them. But to each his/her own.


As much as I despise Trump as a president and a person, anyone who thinks that Bill and Hill are more connected than Trump and Melania is crazy.


Not crazy. Just listen to their respective convention speeches. Or realize that Melania couldn't even write nice things about her own husband.

What president doesn't love power? Trump loves it above all else, except for his love of being loved.

I actually don't think he really loves any human beings. Not really and truly, except maybe Ivanka, cause he likes her looks. Once she's north of 40 his opinion of her will probably start to go down.

It baffles you? It's painfully obvious to most. Though on November 9th, she was probably baffled herself.

She was a very well paid model when she married Trump. She could live very well with or without him, not through modeling but through alimony--the pension plan for pretty women


You have Melania confused with someone else -- I.e., a successful model and someone without a prenup.

Not sure what her prenup says, but I was speaking emotionally. And I don't think her career was long enough to have a big nest egg. She had about four big years here in the US. Before that a few years on the runways in Europe, which don't pay a lot.
