1) little kids have uncontrollable emotions, so they relate to Elsa's uncontrollable magic

3) they don't notice the sad/lonely thing Elsa has going on

Why was the big obsession with Elsa? Anna was the hero and the star of the movie it seemed to me. But every little girl 3-6 years of age was so into being Elsa. Was it the song? The cool ice powers? She did not seem likable whereas Anna was sweet and heroic.
Yes I need to go back to work so I have better things to contemplate.

I don't think it's the blonde hair per se.
