We did Aged Barrel on our red oak floors and it hid the red/orangey color pretty well. And a matte finish. It looks pretty close to this. We’re really happy with it. It’s not too dark that it shows every fleck of lint.

Red oak will show more grain than in your photo—at least the red oak we just installed does. We used walnut and there is more variability in color than your photo.
