I agree. She successfully blocked Bernie Sanders from winning the nomination and when Biden considered running - and I think he really wanted to - she got the party to shoot him down.

As for OP's question I think she will be remembered as almost but not quite and to what extent will largely depend on how bad things are with Trump.
