2 kids - both 10 year olds. Trying to keep the costs down as much as possible.
We almost always stay at an Embassy Suites. Delicious hot breakfast included, and rooms are a little bigger.

Classic dcum.. Don't specify a price range and everyone comes in with top of the line recs. If you're looking for value hotels, make it loud and clear!
One word of warning... Whatever hotel you are looking at, make sure you read the fine print about "resort fees" because even lower end hotels are starting to implement them but they do not make it very clear. It makes their nightly rate look low. I found orlando hotels to be really egregious with this practice more than other places.

My husband found us a great condo for $100 a night. The outside wasn't great, but it was really nicely laid out and furnished. I think he found it on trip advisor.

Four Seasons, Waldorf, or Gaylord.
That all said, if you stay at Universal hotel, you get front of the line passes and if you are even thinking of going there, I would stay there for at least one night.

We stayed at El Caribe Royale. Definitely less $$ than many of the above mentioned hotels. Great pool for the kids.

We stayed at grand villas of Cyprus this past summer and has lovely accommodations. Very clean, quiet and peaceful and within driving distances to the attractions. Set on the hills of a golf course.

The Renaissance by SeaWorld is pretty nice and decently priced although not sure about that time of year.
