I don't know, if you are posting about what a great guy Trump is and how Hillary is a "criminal" is it really out of line to point out that Hillary has been convicted of no crimes and that Trump has some issues? You know, like how he is a racist and a demagogue with no policies who assaults women?

Or if you are posting a misleading or untrue article, is it really out of line to point out that said article is misleading or untrue?

OP here. I guess the reason I do it is that people post things that are not true, and then they just believe them, and they become part of this mythology about Hillary Clinton. At least if I point out that the story is not true, I feel like I am breaking this cycle of affirmation that people are getting when they post inaccurate articles and just get a bunch of "likes."

I have also noticed that when I post a comment, a bunch of other people pile on too, like I broke the ice.

There is just SO MUCH inaccurate information posted.

I have one Trump supporter friend that I do not argue with, every single time the guy posts something it becomes a huge pile on with 20 people writing "Why in the world are you supporting him?!?!?!" So I don't dive into that.

Luckily, my friends are smart enough. My relatives, not so much. Do I call the out? No. because I honestly believe trump supporters are either too stupid or too close minded to fully understand logic or reason.

OP here... I have to emphasize that I "call out" posts that are misleading or untrue, for the most part. It's not just because I disagree.

I have to question the age and maturity of a person who feels compelled to “call out” friends on FB who happen to support a candidate that you don’t.

I have friends that support Clinton. Some I have temporarily blocked because post 10+ things a day. Others are tolerable. I respect my friends and hope they respect me. We just want different outcomes to the election.
