Right now, they both get to pick one ~20 min show on Netflix each on school nights. On Fridays, they can pick a movie or play video games. On Sat/Sun, they get anywhere from 2-4 hours of ipad/tv/video games depending on weather and activities planned for the day. Altogether, they probably get about 8-10 hours of screen time per week. Wondering how we compare to others.
I've actually found the opposite. I am a SAHM so when they were in morning preschool but not napping anymore, they probably watched 2 hours every afternoon. Now that they are in ES, they are lucky to get 30 minutes/schoolday. Some days its none. If the weather is bad and they have no scheduled activities, they might watch a movie after they finish their homework. I don't have a set rule about it.
Weekends they probably watch/IPAD from 7:30am - 9:30amish while DH and I sleep in, drink coffee, chat, etc. Then everything is turned off and we carry on with the day.
