NP here. This is what makes me nervous about sending my kids to Robinson. Friends of ours just relocated outside of this area. They had a son at Robinson who was really into art, but could never get into an art class because they were always full.Anonymous wrote:One loved it and one hated it so went private. I saw the pros and cons. Yes, very big and all that " something for everyone " but it's not magic as the sheer size makes EVERYTHING a competition.
For one DC, smaller was better and they could indeed participate and there was " something for everyone."
Many great teachers and staff/ administration really do care. But the size makes it such a bureaucratic hassle for simple things. Hopefully your kids will love it.
Anonymous wrote:biggest difference between LB and Robo is that Robo is mainly an IB school and LB is just AP. we are at Robo and really like it, but the full IB diploma program is ALOT of work.

About the only main drive is for Saturday entertainment and even that is 15-20 minutes away so not far. Everything else from sports to libraries to grocery to coffe to Target is like 5-10 minutes. Wonderful!
