OP here. That's fine. People can voluntarily donate to help them. But at what point are taxpayers required to provide the help? That's what I'm trying to figure out.

You can always find an anecdotal example for anything. That doesn't negate the argument being made here - that we cannot afford to place another 10 million people - especially people who broke our immigration laws - onto government assistance. We are going broke as it is.
