Did you notice that Abraham gave the people on his left (Rick, Sasha) a "peace" sign before he was killed?

And wondering why they had Daryl lunge at Negan for bothering Rosita. I'm wondering if this is another TWD budding romance.

They follow the plot and characters in detail for both the TV show and the comic book series. I might just read the episode synopsis on that website for a while so I can keep up and not have to watch the gruesome scenes.

You'd think this would be the last season anyway. Who can keep this up for more than 7 seasons?

Per the writers on Talking Dead after the show, they've got a lot more story to tell.

+1 for some reason, this episode seemed the most brutal of all.

The show has hit over the top violence for me and is no longer an interesting story. I have been done for a while but this is really it. DH can watch it alone.

I was relieved when it was Abraham, and also felt like it was a bit of a cop out.
Shocked when they killed Glenn too. My god, the eye socket thing!

The scariest part for me though was Negan in the RV with the ax. I was sure Rick was going to lose a hand. I muted that and just read the captions.

And watching Rick finally cave when asked to mutilate Carl. Oh the humiliation. He should have kept his damn mouth shut after Abraham was killed.

Daryl is going to have some serious guilt for getting Glenn killed.

Come on. It's the Walking Dead. It's always been violent. Yes this is a new level of violence but it's not like you didn't know that going in. I loved the episode, although I almost threw up and definitely cried. It made me care about the characters again...I had been losing interest. But that moment where I thought Daryl was going to die, it made me resmember why I'm still watching.

Both the best, and worst episode by far. So intense! I also had trouble sleeping last night. The second death was so unexpected, I was sad to lose Abe but felt relief that everyone else was ok, and then WHAM! Out goes Glen too. I have never cried during a TV show before. I am afraid for what the rest of the season will bring but that is what keeps me watching!

This was the most emotionally intense episode yet. I had a difficult time falling asleep last night. It's amazing that after 7 years, this series still keeps me watching. Props to Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Andrew Lincoln for nailing that episode. They all did a great job, but those two smashed it home. This is going to be an interesting season for sure.

Then you can't be a fan of the show. The emotional brutality was the point of the episode. Negan was breaking Rick.

This is an iconic scene from the comics. The story is really before Negan and after Negan. It's a new story now.
