WOW, I had to check to make sure I didn't post this - because my wife is suddenly initiating sex all the time after years of being a total asexual. She is 43 as well. I have spent years in desperation trying to get our sex life going and nothing, nothing worked.

I am pretty sure it's because she has a massive crush on a man. He is a SAHD, live in the neighborhood, our kids are the same age. They get together all the time, after school. He is attractive, objectively speaking. And she talks about him. A lot.

I am a bit suspicious, but to be perfectly honest, I am extremely happy with the new found sexual connection. I don't really care how this came about. Is that strange? It's awesome to be having energetic sex again.
