Right. This Democrat didn't vote for Romney in 2008 on policy grounds alone. None of this bullcrap about his childhood boarding school antics, religion, 47%, etc mattered a whit to me. All politicians say and do stupid things, and priveleged kids do stupid things in their youth. Didn't changed the fact that I think Romney is an inherently decent man with whom I happen to disagree on policy. If he had been elected, I would have been okay with it b/c he is well-educated, well-spoken, and decent. You literally can't say any of this about Trump except maybe education, but I don't think he actually learned anything at Penn or Harvard other than how to screw people over to get rich.
