Vets are well trained, see a crap load more of experience than human docs do. They usually know a lot, get it right. Sometimes there's a mistake. You got your refund. Leave a review if you must. But they're not responsible for everything your dog is going through, every decision you make.
Seems like you must work there if you know how many animals they have seen and they only made one error-damage control???
Ha ha ha. You are paranoid. I live in Florida. [/quote]
Well then perhaps you should not just randomly throw out numbers like that-and saying things that are false.

I don't say that casually. I had a pretty awful time when I hired a well-regarded professional to care for my elderly cat when we needed to go out of town. She ignored obvious symptoms and went completely against my care instructions and lied about it. I was at the emergency vet 10 minutes after arriving home and finding my pet unresponsive. It was awful and I really, really wanted to punish this person for negligence and costing me my cat plus thousands of dollars on top of her exorbitant fees that were pre-paid, but nothing was going to change what had happened.
It sounds like you know you still have a rough year ahead with a sick dog. Save your energy and enjoy the time you have.
How do you know?
Because I'm psychic.
Apologies. They almost assuredly are not going to pay the ER bill.
But definitely sue them. Obviously the money is the most important thing here or you would have taken the dog to the vet for severe constipation/impaction and not tried to DIY.

OP isn't interested in hearing anything she doesn't agree with. Better title would be "Vet screwed up big time - VENT!" because that's what this really is.
