Charlotte could barely make the top news on CNN.

Tulsa had a police chief that condemned the shooting and murder 3 charges were put on the officer. Hard to generate rioting anger when the shooting officer has legal charges pending.

Charlotte's chief couldn't even release the tapes until DAYS after the incident.

Tulsa was much more clear-cut. The cop was wrong, and she is facing justice. The Charlotte case is significantly more murky, and it's not clear whether or not the cops did wrong, given the evidence. And in this case, one is innocent until proven guilty.

No some people can't see the difference because they don't want to. It is easier to believe, easier to sleep at night believing that the Faces of Death - USA Police Version - is 100% justified. And it makes some white people feel that since they are not African American, they don't have to worry about this.

PP here-the link I posted above says the same thing, in addition to other pertinent Tulsa riot history. It's much easier, though, to float some ridiculous "theory" that has no basis in reality.

I completely believe this theory is plausible, but I don't understand the Dem's thinking (as usual.) What do they possibly hope to gain by stirring up trouble like this, when Trump is running on a platform of "I will make you safer?" It seems to me that all this will do is anger the Republicans and Independents even more, and push them closer to Trump.
