6 months. She was supposed to start at 3 months but I couldn't do it. My mom came to watch her for 2.5 months.

I tried to find a nanny with no luck after DD2 so we went with a center. Sayed at the same center until Pre K.

14 weeks at a center. He's seemed to love it since the beginning, still going strong at almost 2.

I must not love my child as much as you love yours.

Obviously not. Not sure why you even bothered having children if you can't love them.

There now you have a reason to be defensive.

DC1 at 1.5, DC2 at 3 months. 1.5 was a great age, DC1 was really ready to be around other kids. It was a rough start for DC2, but it's great now at 8 months. They smile so big and reach out when they see their teachers in the morning.

Both kids started nearly-FT daycare at a center at 10 weeks. The second time was waaaay easier (obv, lol) bc DC2 was a much easier infant, and bc we knew the infant lady was/is the gold standard. Both healthy, both happy, etc.

Planned 4 months but she showed up early so ended up being 5 months. It was a great age. She was really ready for the interaction and we were all getting some sleep. Hope I can stay home 5 months again with the one I'm expecting.

4 months - DW and I used up all of our leave and weren't in a position for one of us to stay at home. We didn't do an in home daycare, but rather a non-chain daycare (like, not Bright Horizons or La Petite Academy). He stayed there for three years until we moved from DC to Montgomery County. Now DW works from home and he's in pre-school 3 days a week for 3 hours a day. Honestly, I think full day was better for him, but we're still adjusting.
