The Breakers in Palm Beach. Old frumpy luxury. Nice golf course.

Golf. Well that makes sense since 1.) I don't play golf and 2.) I would be able to afford it if I did

That's why I bought the hat!

Nice to have lunch there too. Outside.

That's me -- swim bag, fleece jacket, and an umbrella (used to have two, but I must have forgotten one somewhere -- you can see how I end up like this).

I hate logo stuff, or really most clothing with words. My husband doesn't mind them, and I don't want to criticize, but the result is that he gets me T-shirts that say "Boston" and I never wear them. He's a muzzy-headed academic, so he doesn't notice.

I remember when I was in elementary school my dad went to CA and brought me back a USC jersey. Really nice jersey, but it said TROJANS on it and I was in 5th or 6th grade. Knew that was a condom and refused to wear the jersey.

Only non label things -- i.e. my husband has a swimsuit from the Mauna Kea with its orange flower logo, but nobody would recognize that aside from people who have stayed there.

Funny question OP. I've never consciously thought of it, but my mom had a thing that she'd never wear anything with someone's logo on it. She thought it was tacky. So no, I must have gotten that from her w/o thinking of it. I would never buy that junk. I've stayed at hotels all over the world. And, I've never bought anything like that.

Yup. I actually have a breakers pullover for that exact reason. I didn't realize we would have a couple of really chilly days.

That's a souvenir from the trip, not a brag where she stayed. Pay attention to the topic
